Juan Rubert S.L. is a family citrus business established in 1910. It is highly specialized in harvesting, packing and exporting clementines, satsumas and mandarins (with or without leaves) and oranges.
Actually the company is run by the fourth generation of the family, with full-time commitment to the business, covering the different departments. In addition we have a young and dynamic working team, prepared to deal with all the challenges that the marked demands, always under a prism of professionalism and joint effort.
Nowadays the situation of the company makes us look at future with optimism, carrying on with the current commercial line, increasing the export volume and new market´s consolidation.
We own a wide and modern facility where we perform the tasks of reception, handling, packaging and expedition of the product.
Juan Rubert S.L. has implemented several control systems, which are certified by external entities, in order to guarantee the legality, quality, sustainability and safety or our products as well as fully comply with our customer´s specifications.
The company has its quality and HACCP system to ensure it. In addition to this, Juan Rubert S.L. is certified by the following protocols:
BRC (British Retail Consortium): Global Standard for Food Safety which guarantee the standardization of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers fulfill their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.
IFS (International Food Standard): Standard for auditing food suppliers distributor brands. It applies only to manufacturing of food packaging companies.
Global G.A.P. It is the world´s leading farm assurance program. It is voluntary and a world global reference for good agricultural practices.
Nurture. It is also available on our farms.
In order to be able to control the safety or our products, we have a computerized traceability system, which works with barcodes including the whole process from reception to expedition.
We must add that the company is regularly audited by ethical standards (SMETA-Sedex and customer´s own ethical protocols).
